A new organization called "American Council on Jewish Turkish Relations" (ACJTR) declared that I am one of the persons "dynamiting the Turkish-Israeli friendship"

The aide to Ariel Sharon, Ehud Olmert (Deputy Prime Minister,  in a recent visit to Turkey) stated: "Turkey's and Israel's Iraq policies are one and the same. It is Israel's state policy that Iraqi territorial integrity must be preserved.

Israel's Iraqi policies are similar to those of Turkey and of USA.".  Three statements, and each one of them is false. Olmert's statements are a public relations effort aimed at (Turkish) public opinion and have no connection to the facts.  Olmert's statements do match (his) reactions to writers who question the (recently) strained Turkish-Israeli relations, and they give the impression of being a work of propaganda.

Far from being the "same", Turkey's and Israel's Iraq policies in fact collide. The efforts by certain circles to hide this collision course and to try to revitalize the Turkish-Israeli friendship based on certain ethnic structures are a matter for another discussion.  However, it is a fact thatthe "strategic cooperation" created by the Israel-Turkey axis to bring a new order in the Middle East is eroding.  The Anglo-American-Israeli cooperation axis, whose  “Middle-East Plan” aims to occupy Iraq and Syria, to partition Saudi Arabia, and to have total control of the area between the Gulf of Basra and Eastern Mediterranean, is cause for great concern.  Not only is the Kurdish card  being used against Turkey, Iran, and Syria, as the Kurds are reduced to being a pawn, but there’s a  strategy of breaking up countries, creating new mini-states, placing in power an elite hand-picked by Washington and London, and intensifying ethnic and religious divisions.  Anyone who can see the chaos that would emerge as a result of this strategy knows that the interests ofTurkey and Israel are not one and the same.

The Jewish lobby and its associated circles are trying to attribute the tension (between Turkey and Israel) to the personal beliefs of Prime Minister Erdogan and are targetingthe administration of the AKP party. In addition, they try to limit (the reasons for) Turkey's anxiety to the Israeli massacres in Palestine.  But this is not true. The (Middle-East) area is subject to drastic changes, and those changes are pushing Turkey and Israel into opposing roadways.  The Israeli policies in northern Iraq and in the Middle-East, as well as the potentialmembership of Turkey in the EU, are widening the gap between the two countries. It is not only  the AKP party that has discovered these new realities, but many other circles have discovered them as well.   Those who can not recognize the true dimensions of this world structure cannot comprehend the reasons behind the cooling of Turkish-Israeli relations.

The claims that "Israel's State policy is to preserve the territorial integrity of Iraq", and "Israel's Iraq policies coincide with those of Turkey and the USA" are very far from the truth.  The idea of dividing Iraq into three countries -  in the north the Kurds, in the south the Shiites, and in the middle the Sunnis - is an Israeli thesis, and had been discussed before the occupation of Iraq.

Take a look at statements given in 1982 by one  named Oded Yinon affiliated with the Israeli foreign ministry: "For us to divide Iraq is more important than to divide Syria. The Iran-Iraq war caused big fatigue in Iraq and started its downfall. The problems among Arabs are helping us and accelerating our goal of dividing Iraq into small pieces."  This plan is no different from Hitler's "Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Fuhrer"  (One People, One Country, One Leader ) theory.  It also suggests dividing Saudi Arabia, as in Zbigniev Brzezinski's plan to divide Russia in three in order to exploit its oil.

Perhaps you should tell us what to write?
This being the situation, as soon as you try to analyze these developments, you are immediately accused of "anti-Semitism" and become the object of a forceful campaign against you. You are accused of trying "to dynamite the Turkish-Israeli friendship" and you become a target.  I have not written about this and similar topics, until today.  However, since we started questioning last year’s aggression against Iraq, we have faced a systematic attack.  These people are engaged in a campaign against us in the Turkish and the US press.

A last example of this happened last week. A new organization called "American Council on Jewish Turkish Relations" (ACJTR) declared that I am one of the persons "dynamiting the Turkish-Israeli friendship". I never heard of such a group before. They also presented a letter to Prime Minister Erdogan, on his last trip to America, where they complain about "anti-Israeli groups in the Turkish press". They also published that letter in their website. They complain that they received no response to their letter. They even published on their web site their responses  to me. Why should anyone take such an amateurish and militant group seriously?

No doubt they want to silence us. They worry that their regional (Middle-east) plans will become public. They want us to surrender to their public disinformation project, which is based on lies. You will occupy, you will torture, you will plunder and steal, you will divide countries, you will blow-up cars in the streets with missiles, you will kill children and elderly with tanks and missiles, you will play game after game in order to create ethnic and religious strife, and we must shut up. We will trample on our honor.  We will accept that all is destiny.

The accusation of anti-Semitism is being used as a political tool. When you search for truth, they declare "this guy is anti-Semitic",  and everything comes to a total halt. In reality, it is out of the question that we should attack a religious community, an ethnic group, or a country, but apparently, this is the best strategy that they have.  The results are evident. Shouldn’t the people who are targeting us do better by questioning their own country, for the turmoil that they created?

"Türk-İsrail dostluğunu dinamitlemek"le suçlanıyor, hedef gösteriliyorsunuz. Bugüne kadar bu gibi konuları yazı konusu yapmadım. Ancak, geçen yıl, Irak'taki tecavüz olaylarını sorgulamamızdan bu yana ciddi bir yıpratma operasyonu yürütülüyor. O zamandan beri kampanyayı yürütenler, Türk ve ABD basınında aleyhimize haberler yaptırıp bizi hedef ilan etmişlerdi. ABD misyonu ve İsrailli çevrelerin yazılarımdan duydukları rahatsızlığı belli yerlere ulaştırdıklarını, yazılara son verilmesini istediklerini, bunun için bazı kişilerin devreye girdiğini biliyorum.
 
Bunun son örneği bu hafta gerçekleşti. Amerika'da Türkiye'nin Yahudi Dostları Derneği ACJTR adlı kuruluş, beni "Türk-İsrail dostluğunu dinamitleyen" kişilerden biri ilan etmiş.  Bu grubu daha önce bilmiyordum. ABD ziyaretinde Başbakan'a, "Türk basınındaki İsrail karşıtlığını şikayet eden bir mektup" vermişler. Mektubu da internet sitelerinde yayınlamışlar. Başbakan'ın mektuba cevap vermediğinden yakınıyorlar. Bana gönderdikleri tepki mesajlarını bile sitelerinde yayınlamışlar. Böyle amatör ve militan bir yapıyı kim, neden ciddiye alsın? Her halde susmamızı istiyorlar. Bölgesel senaryolarının ortaya çıkmasından endişeleniyorlar. Yalanlar üzerine kurgulanan kamuoyu çalışmalarına teslim olmamızı istiyorlar. Sen işgal edeceksin, işkence edeceksin, yağmalayacaksın, ülkeleri parçalayacaksın, sokaktaki otomobilleri füzelerle havaya uçuracaksın, çocukları ve yaşlıları tanklarla/füzelerle parçalayacaksın, etnik ve mezhep çatışmaları çıkarmak için oyun üstüne oyun kuracaksın, bizler susacağız... Onurumuzu ayaklar altına alıp sineceğiz. Yaşananlara "kader" diyeceğiz... Anti-semitizm suçlaması bir politika olarak kullanılıyor. Eleştiriler ısrarla o alana çekiliyor. Doğruları aradığınız zaman "bu adam anti-semitik" diyorlar ve akan sular duruyor. Oysa kimsenin bir dinin mensuplarına, bir etnik çevreye, bir ülkeye karşı düşmanlığı sözkonusu bile değilken... Her halde ellerinde bundan daha etkin bir strateji yoktur. Sonuçları ortada. Bizi hedef ilan edenlerin öncelikle kendi ülkelerinin çevreye verdiği rahatsızlığı sorgulamaları gerekmiyor mu? "
